Summer Band Camp (7th/8th Only)

Happy Summer!

We are hosting a summer band camp (ONLY FOR CURRENT 7th and 8th graders) at the LBMS Band Hall on July 29-30, August 2-4, and August 12 from 5:30-7:00pm each day.  On the calendar I shared at the end of the school year I accidentally mis-typed the rehearsal times.  If you are receiving this message please use the times listed above.  I apologize for the mistake and will be at each rehearsal early and stay late to accommodate any students that are following the information I shared on the calendar in May.

The purpose of these rehearsals are to prepare the band to perform at Bronco Round-Up on August 16th from 3:30-4:30pm.  Bronco Round-Up is a welcome pep rally and informational day for the incoming 6th graders.  

Summer Band is optional, but highly encouraged!  Please attend if possible, but I understand if there are conflicts and it is not necessary for you to change your summer plans.  If your student can make some, but not all of the rehearsals – that is okay and we’ll take your student whenever we can have them!  However, we will not have any students playing at Bronco Round-Up that did not attend any summer band rehearsals.

We will also host a summer band party (pending approval) exclusively for students that attend summer band.  More information to come on this social event.

Please help spread the word on LBMS Summer Band.  It is sometimes difficult to reach everyone over the summer because teachers lose access to contact information via skyward.
